Academics Race to Save Rare Colonial Documents in Cuba

CLAG member Matt LaFevor, Assistant Professor of Geography at the University of Alabama, was mentioned this week in a number outlets about some of his (and his brother’s) work in Cuba. Matthew Lafevor, a geography professor at the University of Alabama, and his brother, David, a history professor at the University of Texas at Arlington, have worked for over a decade to build a digital archive of millions of documents dating back to the Colonial Era.
